Triumph
Regret is a feeling you've come to know,
Your partner in crime wherever you go,
With it you're shackled; without it you're cold,
It's been there always and will when you're old,
You wake some mornings and forget it's there,
But reality hits; too much to bear,
And soon, your routine is back to the same,
Wandering aimlessly, head down in shame,
You cannot escape the demons inside,
Can't run away when you're helping them hide,
The longer you keep it locked deep within,
The longer you help it break you and win,
No longer shall you be known a disgrace,
Break out of your shell and show them their place.
